1 Year

It's hard to believe we opened our doors to the store front a year ago. We opened up the Thursday prior to Mother’s Day and that was insane. The painters had just finished on Wednesday with all the finishing touches and Thursday, we flicked the OPEN sign on. I remember Thursday was rainy and dreary. The weather cleared up for the weekend. There were Prom orders to go out along with Mother’s Day orders and the constant flow of foot traffic through the store. So many people we know stopped in to support us that weekend and we certainly felt the love. 

Now we are a year in. A year more of knowledge, skill, systems, organization and flow. A year more of meeting some amazing customers and flowering for so many people. A year more of a few mistakes that we have learned from and adjusted to not make them again. A year more of creating and perfecting systems and organization to best serve our customers and clients. 

One of the most beautiful parts of my job is not the flowers, but being able to flower for people on some of their best days and some of their hardest. It is truly an honor and privilege we do not take lightly. That is something that has been a constant in our year at the store.

Looking back at pictures of what the store looked like on the day we opened, compared to what it looks like now is so crazy. We had minimal gifts and things were very sparse looking. With every wholesale order, we strive to curate the best gifts for anyone that you are shopping for. We love being a convenient stop to grab a quick but tasteful gift.

What do we want the next year to look like? Bring more beauty and joy in flowers to our customers and clients. Curate timeless gift collections for anyone on your list. Flower for our amazing wedding couples. Bring new offerings both in the wedding and retail sides of the business. 

Thankful and grateful don’t even begin to cover it for the last year. We are so excited for what’s in store and can’t wait to see you in the shop again soon!
